Administration's Message

Welcome to First Flight Elementary School, where we live the KSCRP Way every day. We practice kindness, safety, cooperation, respect and peace throughout each day to help us “be powerful in a positive way!” 

At First Flight Elementary, we believe that all students have the right to an education that meets their needs and is on their instructional level to support their constant learning, growth, and success. We believe that all students should be challenged to learn beyond the walls of their classroom and have opportunities to apply what they are learning to real world situations. We believe that students learn best within a collaborative learning community that includes teachers/staff, parents, students, and community members. We believe that our students learn best when they are given the strategies and tools to grow in their learning and grow in their confidence in themselves and how they treat others. 

Parent involvement and participation are welcomed and seen as a crucial part of your child's education.Whether working with teachers to provide extra support in the classroom, working with staff to help your child’s personal success,  or serving with our PTO to enhance our school through special programs or projects, our parents improve the quality of education in our school through positive interaction with students and staff.  We hope that all families see themselves as part of our collaborative community and help us continue to grow and succeed.
