The Visual Arts program at First Flight Elementary School uses the North Carolina Essential Standards for Visual Arts to provide knowledge of and experience in the basics of art making, art history, and aesthetics. In Kindergarten through 5th grade students get a variety of experiences with art media, techniques and practices relevant to their grade levels, abilities and interests.
