MTSS stands for Multi-Tiered System of Supports. This framework is used by many schools to provide targeted assistance to struggling students. It may also be referred to as the MTSS framework, process, or model.

MTSS aims to identify students early and provide swift interventions. It takes a holistic approach, addressing not only academic growth but also behavior, social and emotional needs, and absenteeism.
