Take the survey: K-12 Math Standards All-Stakeholders General Survey

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) K-12 Math team requests input on the current academic standards for K-12 Math to inform revision decisions to the current standards. The State Board of Education policy specifies that NCDPI survey and collect feedback on the current standards from educators, administrators, parents, students, institutions of higher education, business/industry representatives from across the state, national organizations, and other education agencies. Updates to the current K-12 Math Standards may include clarifications, additions, deletions, or replacements to the current standards.

This survey allows participants to provide general feedback regarding the K-12 math standards. The survey asks 10 questions about the current K-12 math standards. Participants can answer about a specific grade/course or based on an overall perception of the K-12 math standards. In addition to this survey, there will be several other opportunities for participants to provide feedback on the standards throughout the revision process.

This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey will remain open until 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2024.
